14u Girls Softball
Step 4: In the big leagues now
This League is for girls age 13 and 14.
At this level:
-Competitive Softball
-Girls are given and learn all aspects of their team primary position well, moving around the field more as the season progresses
-Primary positions determined by players ability as well as team need. When 2 girls ability are equal, girls in their final year are given the spot
-2nd year girls help 1st year girls prepare for their final season in the program as they get ready to move on to the High School League
This is an inter town league with Lakeville, Freetown, Berkley and Dighton participating.
This level is played by ASA rules, with some age related league modifications.
Normally playing on Tuesday or Thursday evenings twice per week.
Some travel to the listed towns, half of the games will be played at Jon Paun Feild.
Practices begin in April, with games beginning around the first of May.
